It seems like only a week ago when the year began. How time flies when you are having fun. Its been a fun year running the race for some but also a tough one for others. We are finally in the last month of this year and this is just a good time as any to look back and reflect on the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord.

You have heard how they say “Home is where the heart is” or “Home is best”. How about “Home sweet home”. I could go on and on. There comes a time when these statements seem a mile away, a time when you feel like a disease among the inoculated. So what do you do when you are rejected in a place where you thought acceptance was guaranteed?

It was Bob Marley who hit the nail on the head with his hit song Don’t Worry Be Happy”. As human beings we are all susceptible to worry . Worry in a lot of cases such as it being a genuine concern is healthy for governing our well being. Worry in the form of being concerned over something is what makes us remember the important,

The day had come to an end on the Fourth of July which is the more common name for Independence day. The fourth of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence for those who missed a bit of schooling. Seeing that was a day to remember freedom, I took time off to reflect on some the blessings which we take so much for granted.

Claiming to have faith when it is not in use is as well as having no faith at all. Our faith is not developed and sustained without it being put into practice. We have to work it out in order to build it up. It is not how much faith you claim to have in you, but how much you do that counts.
