Okay, before you go on and tag me insane, let me explain the validity of this story. This is a story that has been recorded in the Bible in the book of Numbers as seen below.
Funny it is how back in my school days, way back, kneeling was corrupted and turned into a form of punishment. This was the unofficially prescribed punishment for crimes related to not completing your homework in time or for making noise in the classroom. It is before such times that we would recite a string of prayers to keep us from kneeling. How ironic.
For those of my brothers and sisters back in Kenya you may have heard of the sad events that have happened to some individual property owners whos land is believed to actually be land belonging to the Kenya Airports Authority. On the Sunday of 13th November, heavy construction vehicles went into that area called Syokimau near Kenya’s capital Nairobi and began the ugly task of demolishing homes that had been built over the years by the owners.
